Supporting The National Future Farmers of America - FFA

Portacool is proud to have joined the National FFA Organization in 2016 as a state sponsor in California, Florida and Texas.  We’ve had the privilege to meet these outstanding students at their conventions this year. In fact, our team just got back from the last convention of the three we participated in this year - the 88th Annual Texas FFA Convention.

As part of our new commitment to the FFA, Portacool has provided monetary support and product donations.  The sponsorship includes a donation of $5,000 to each state. Additionally, within the states, four chapters have been selected to receive a grant of $1,000 and a Portacool 16” Three Speed portable evaporative cooler to use through the summer and into the first part of the 2016/2017 school year.

We’re thrilled to receive positive feedback and excitement from the chapters who received the donation. The Portacool team is excited to grow our relationship with the FFA!

Did you know that Portacool products are made in the USA with domestic and global parts? Yep! It's true. We are the global  leader in evaporative cooling solutions selling nationally and internationally in 56 countries offering portable cooling that is made in the USA.

Celebrating our 25th anniversary this year, we are proud to be a Texas-based company with headquarters in Center, Texas near the Louisiana border.  We value our Texas roots where our products have been and will continue to be made.  In fact, we’ve made a conscientious decision to keep our headquarters, production and North American distribution center in Texas.

As we go into the Labor Day weekend, we want to thank our dedicated team and pay homage to America's hard-working people. What began in September 1882 as a day when more than 10,000 workers assembled in New York City to participate in America’s first Labor Day parade has evolved into a time to celebrate our collective hard work.

We hope you have a great weekend holiday weekend and take in the last sights and sounds of summer. Whatever you do during the Labor Day holiday, we encourage you to remember to celebrate our achievements together. One of us cannot accomplish as much as all of us working together.
