Never Looked Cooler Thanks To Counts Kustoms

Shop owners depend on Portacool to keep their guys cool and productive in the hottest temps. For just this reason, we forged a kinship with the Counts Kustoms team – you may know them for their hit show Counting Cars seen on the History channel – a few years back when they needed dependable spot cooling to keep a few key areas of their sprawling Las Vegas shop cool.  The guys report that temps can get upwards of 115-125°F during the most brutal summer months.

This year, we gave Danny Koker and his team first dibs on the new Portacool Jetstream series of evaporative coolers to keep the guys safe and productive on the job.  They loved the new look and the awesome features! Then we had a great idea:  what if their talented paint guys customized and ‘tricked out’ a couple of the new Jetstream 240s to really show-off the new cool look?

Lead painter Ryan Evans and airbrush artist Horny Mike went to work. Our team gave them no direction – we wanted to ensure we did not limit their creativity, and who doesn’t like a little surprise?!?  We waited with nervous anticipation for a few months waiting to see what the end result would look like.

Lead Painter, Ryan Evans, takes care in creating his masterpiece.

However, as expected, the result was phenomenal! Look at these two “KUSTOMIZED” Portacool Jetstream 240s!

The Counts Kustoms paint guys gather around the completed Portacool Jetstreams.

We’ll be taking one on the road with us to tradeshows such as SEMA (the largest specialty automotive event in the country that takes place each November in Las Vegas) and giving it away to one lucky winner.  Be sure to stop by and put your name in for a chance to win at our booth!

One "Kustomized" Jetstream will be given away, as noted on our signage at the Sturgis booth.

Our team can’t thank Counts Kustoms enough for making the vision a tricked-out reality!
